The Low Down on Ipod Pick 10

In the mornings I am going to let the Ipod select the first 10 songs of the day. Once I get the chance, will will report the random dispursement of music from my Ipod with my thoughts on the flow of the songs, individual comments, etc. Sit back, I will make sure my shuffle is on and read the results!!!

3/9/2010

1) Straightening Out the Shelves, SNFU, Better Than A Stick In The Eye
Nice punk start to the morning

2) Testify, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, Live at Carnegie Hall
Stevie Ray of course makes me think of Hendrix, but I think more and more, his sound is a cleaner sound.....

3) Tee It Up, The Feds, Demo ‘97
Great band that had high energy that played a lot in the KC area

4) Jericho, Blitzen Trapper, 03/07/08 The Beta Bar
I ended up getting into it, but might have just been the recording and it playing back on my cheap Volvo speakers

5) Wild Honey Pie, Phish, Live Phish 10/31/94
Love some of the shows where they performed an entire classic record on Halloween.

6) If There’s Still Ramblin’In the Rambler (Let Him Go), Yonder Mountain String Band, 2/9/2008 Revolutions
Ipod went in a live music kick this morning—all good choices, but YMSB is always a fav group of mine. Espically the verse in the middle of the song—just another Jagermiester shot!!!

7) Life is…Too Short, Too $hort, Life is…Too Short
I came to listen as a 13 year old dish washer from a senior in high school as a tape passed to me from one of the older busboys---loved it!

8) Across The Sea, Weezer, Pinkerton
Droning Guitar, love the Weezer sound....

9) Dirt, The Stooges, Funhouse
Gritty, driving ----rawness!!!

10) D7, Nirvana, Hormoaning
Rough Nirvana----classic....
